Delivered face to face by one of our expert trainers, our trainer will take you through this two-day training course, which is designed to enable delegates to develop their knowledge and understanding of using leadership and management skills to ensure safety, quality requirements, and managing behaviours when delivering projects as required by a practicing or potential team leader, site manager or site supervisor. This course will enable you to develop deep insights in to your own leadership / management attitude, style and behaviour with every candidate receiving their own DISC Profile (a behavioural self-assessment tool based on psychologist William Moulton Marston’s DISC emotional and behavioural theory with the aim to improve job performance by categorising individuals into four personality traits: dominance, inducement, submission, and compliance). Delegates will explore their people management skills, and styles to influence and inspire others, as well as drive performance in your organisation. Delegates will leave this course equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need them to do.

The course at a high level will cover:

  • The roles and responsibilities of a site supervisor or team leader.
  • The differences between leadership and management and the relationship between the two.
  • Understanding and mastering key communication styles.
  • Leading a professional workforce.
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing.
  • Quality management on and off site management the importance of health and safety.
  • Self-reflection = designing your action plan

At the end of day two candidates will undertake a short multiple-choice question test paper. Upon successful completion of the course and passing the short test delegates will receive a CPD certificate.
